Can you believe it??!!! it is 31st January 2009 already!! And i think i havent make any new year’s resolution!! Or errrmm… did i??

Anyway, new year’s resolution is to be healthy. I’d been unwell since 1 January and it is now 1 month already. I’d been coughing, flu, fever and now chest pain and backache. I am going to the doctor for the fifth freaking time later or tomorrow. I might need to go for some x ray or whatever shit for my backache. It seems to be getting worse. Cant really sleep at night. Even if i sleep, i cant really move. Need to lie still till the next morning. And when i cough, i feel like my whole lungs wanna collapse. SIGH…

Meanwhile, i will be busy with some planning on what to renovate in the house. I might hop over to IKEA and grab some stuff. I heard they can ship the stuff over, shouldnt be difficult. Cant wait!!

Quick update. My sister is back! She is a regular reader of my blog coz i keep her update on what is going on in me life.

I am still coughing. Went to the Dr for the fourth time. I have been very patient and i think i am getting better. But tonight, i ate some forbidden food.
SIGH… what should i do??!! The fried chicken was in front of me, tempting me to eat it during our reunion dinner. And i am starting to cough again. DOUBLE SIGH…

My Milo is unwell. He didnt wanna eat any food and Jacky is super worry. We reckon he might be frightened by the firecrackers. And this is gonna be a problem coz in about an hour’s time, i am gonna light up some fire crackers.

I am still unwell. In fact, it is getting worse. And CNY is just NEXT freaking WEEK!!!

For the last two nights, i slept at almost 2 a.m. Coughing every few seconds. Yesterday, i had to switch off the aircon coz i am paranoid. I think the aircon is making my throat to itch. I dont know lah… I am so freaking pissed with my throat. I just feel there is something stuck on the tonsil (is that what you call it?? whatever lah) and if i can, i wanna use a brush to brush it off.

I cough till my chest is pain and now, my backbone is beginning to ache. And two nights ago, at about 12.30a.m. i had to jump up from my bed coz i cough till i puke. I had to cover my mouth with both my hands and use my elbow to open the door. My pyjama stink coz of the puke. damnit! And i had to wipe the floor, change into new pyjama.

As i am typing this, i am coughing like a drug addict. My dad asked me to drink his DOM but i am on medication. It will be my last antibiotic for tonight. And he also wants me to drink his enzyme stuff, but i am more interested in just drinking honey. I heard drinking honey lemon helps with cough, is that true?? Can someone send me a miracle remedy?? PLSSSS.. i havent been having enough sleep for 2 nights already. If tonite is still the same, I will look like a zombie tomorrow.

I think my sickness is due to work stress also. Actually i didnt really notice, but my GM pointed out to me during my 5 mins appraisal this morning. Amazing eh?? 5 mins is all he has to appraise me. Everyone else has done it but i was away in Sibu, so.. they actually forgotten about me. It was me who keep reminding them, and finally today, first thing in the morning, he asked me to go to his room with another manager and start the appraisal process.

I have positive feedbacks, which is a great thing but positive feedback means more stress to me. After he blah everything, he said that the management noticed that i am always getting sick especially when there is a huge or important things on my plate.

And then i realise, yea… that is right. I find that maybe i am just mentally too tired, hmm…..

I hope to be able to sleep tonight.

I was missing in action for a week. I am guilty.

I was in Sibu from Monday till Thursday. Was lazy to bring the lappy with me. I should have coz i was so bored that i finished reading a book and some other reading materials that i brought along. We have 2 audits to do per day. And sometimes, just 1 per day. In some of the companies, if they prepare all the documents and every thing that is needed for the freezing and boiling test, then it makes our job very easy. We only need to spend about 1 1/2 or 2 hours there. We were doing the wood packaging material heat treatment auditing. There are about 35 of them throughout Sarawak, so we need to visit all of them every year. It is renewal audit, that is why it is much easier for us.

Anyway, it was flooding in Sibu. Can see some of the houses along the mainroad are flooded about 1 meter. Some lower area are worse! One of the road was flooded after we are done with our audit and we were stuck there for about half an hour, contemplating whether to cross or not. There was a huge lorry in front of us, and he didnt dare to cross. In fact, he was half way through the road and he just stop there. We are not sure if the water is going up or down and the driver was busy making call to his factory, asking them if there is any alternate routes which there was! But it was through the plantation area and he says he never use that way. I was err… plantation area! NO WAY!! coz there is no road sign and every turn and corner looks the same. I had been to plantation all the time and i know how the road is. And so we decided to wait for a while. There was a long queue at the back of us and the driver went out and talk to some of them. SIGH.. and then he keep teasing me that i will need to sleep in the factory that night, bla bla bla. Lucky after about half an hour, the lorry decided to just go through the water and our driver was like.. OK! hold on tight! we are going through. Lucky we were using land cruiser and the water was super high but he just accelerate and pass through the water.

It was quite scary experience. The next day, we went to Sarikei and from there, we use a four seater speedboat to one of the mill in Tanjung Manis. It was my first time there, and the ride was choppy. We reached the mill after half an hour and we quickly do our audit and then we boarded the speedboat. The company chartered the boat for us.

The last day in Sibu was boring. We went to the mill in the morning and finish our work by 11 a.m. Came back, go for lunch and then manage to go shopping. We didnt dare to walk very far from our hotel coz the weather is unpredictable. Our flight was 5.10pm but we reach the airport at 3pm.

The flight back was scary too. The whole way, it was shaking. Never ever wanna use the plane at this time of the year.

I think i said i saw sunlight? I think i was dreaming! There is no sunlight!!!

It has been raining for 48 hours straight. My old house in Green Road is flooded! We havent go see the condition, but our neighbour called my dad this morning. SIGH…

And Jacky’s shop in town area is flooded too!! He had to carry lots of boxes of goods but there were a lot more that were just left behind. The water came into the shop way too fast. There is no way he can carry everything to a higher level. I think there was eight of them carrying the goods. I wasnt there coz i was at home. The roads leading to town were all flooded.

Anyway, i wonder if it is flooding in Sibu. I am going to do some audit in Sibu tomorrow. Double sigh….

It is so near to CNY that i feel reluctant to go traveling. And there is so much work in office too..

Right now, all i wanna say is
RAIN RAIN, GO AWAY! COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY!!

OMG! OMG!!! OMG!!!!!

CNY is coming and i have done any house cleaning yet. And i havent start shopping for Jacky’s new year goodies. I am in charge of buying heaps of goodies for his place, decor and house cleaning. Hmmm…..

Hope there wont be much traffic jam later. Am going lunch with colleagues and then maybe to shop for some stuff. I will be away travelling to Sibu and Sarikei next week.

It has been raining for almost two days already. This kind of weather makes me sleepy and tired. Wait! I think i see sunlight!! YES!! YES!!!! Hehehe…. crazy girl u say? Haha..

Anyway, it is appraisal day in office today. So far, i am still not being called yet. SIGH.. wonder why. Dont know if being the first few is good or being the last few is good. It is almost time to go home now, and i think i will only be called after i come back from traveling.

Time to pack up and go home!
