This is a special day. It’s suppose to be special isnt?
I texted Jacky this morning saying we should treat today as our belated V Day coz it is a special day. We will be going for Japanese food tonite, but it will be my treat. It’s sort of the celebration for my promotion too 
Anyway, the happy moment turn into a sour one when i was at work. Actually am still working. How can someone be so defensive if she did nothing wrong right? The situation is, I saw in my pay slip that they cut a small amount in my salary to pay tax. This is the first time in my life that i have to pay tax (besides the government or stupid service tax lah) coz somehow i managed to escape last year. This year, it is quite obvious that i cant. And so the drama begins. i mean, being a stupid responsible citizen, we should have go to the Inland revenue and register yourself right? But yours truly had always been lazy and just didnt care about it until now. I dont even have an account with Inland Revenue yet and i’d already paying my tax. And being an ignorant girl, i dont understand where my money goes to. So, off i went to the Accounts Department to clarify this matter. Guess what?? With a simple question of wanting to know where my money goes, it went ugly with her thinking i accuse her of taking my money. Common lah!! It’s just bloody Rm35 ok???!! Who cares about the amount??? Even if it dropped on the street, at least i know i’d dropped it. I just wanna know where the Rm35 goes. That’s it. Full stop. She became so defensive and said things like it’s the company responsibility to pay tax under what stupid Act, yada yada yada… I mean, i dont need all this crap. I just wanna know, i dont have an account with them. So where did my money go?? To me, it’s as simple as… i dont have an account with ABC bank. But every month, you pay my money to ABC bank. And to where that money goes? She just dont get it. She got upset and started to say things like, Okay, if you dont want me to deduct from your salary, i shall not deduct it next month. WTF!!!
HELLLOOOOOO???!!!! Did i say i dont wanna pay?? Why is she so sensitive? It’s just a question. Looks like i am digging my own grave here. I am really pissed off!!!
High blood liao. What a day to talk to a DUH person?!
Oh ya.. somemore, it’s FRIDAY!!! arghhh!! stupid!! WTF!
I just receive an email from Shawn. OMG! OMG! Did anyone of you read about the 5 person that went to rob a lady and the maid while they were cleaning the pond? Well, apparently, it’s his mum!!
Mrs Ting, i hope you are OK. Jacky and i will be visiting you this weekend and Shawn will be flying back tonite. This is scary. Kuching is not a very safe place to stay in anymore.
Maybe i should get Jacky to elope to another place. But that’s not possible lah…

Yes!! I’m Happy!! Feels like i am on top of the world. Got my increment and a promotion. Yippie. I am indeed a lucky girl. Looks like 2008 (after CNY, that is) will bring me luck, prosperity and happiness.
Yesterday i was feeling so low that i dont feel like it’s me. I did the things i never do before. I stormed out from Jacky’s place and went home straight. What had got into my mind? Am i going insane??
I guess he was stunned by my reaction. and I was stunned too…
I was under pressure and stress from work. Bad mood. And Jacky is feeling unwell, and it’s end of the month. So, he’s having bad mood too. So… i guess bad mood plus bad mood equals to WW5.
But everything is OK. He came for breaky this morning. Had a hot Milo ready for him and some bread. We made our peace
Feb is coming to an end. It’s gonna be March in 2 days time. I’ll be having class next week. ARGHH!! the battle begins. Cant wait for August to come (last paper) and then if i ever graduate, then YEAYY! Mission accomplish. Hehe…

I’m lost for words.
I dont know what i should blog about today. Thanks for always dropping by my blog. It’s more than 500 hits now and i am happy. When i first started, i was just wondering if it will ever hit 100 and everyday, the number keep increasing. And suddenly, it’s 500 hits. I know that’s nothing as compared to other blogs that have thousands of hits daily, but to me, i am managing this blog as to update my friends who are not in Kch that are interested in what is going on in my life. Not to write for the public.
It’s almost lunch time. My tummy had been growling since 10 a.m. I’m so hungry that if I see a burger on my screen now, I would have lick it. I had just one piece of the eight grain bread and a cup of milo. I always have 2 pieces, but yesterday Jacky and I stepped on the scale again. Oh my!! Both of us are putting on weight. Remember the time when I say I wanna try to loose weight? I guess the more I think I wanna loose it, the more I gain. Maybe I should just shuddup about it and we’ll see from here.
It’s 27th and our salary is still not out. Hmmm.. am not a happy girl when that happens. Yes, i have my credit cards to pay, i have my car loan to pay and and.. and… well, the thing is, we usually get our pay cheque, (yes! u got that right. cheque.) We dont dont do direct banking. Anyway, we usually get the cheque on 25th and the cheque will need 3 days to be cleared. Sigh…
I quote from my Finance manager ‘ Due to some circumstances beyond our control, all your salaries will only be released at a later date before the end of the month’. What circumstances beyond their control???!!!!! i secretly found out that it was the stupiak ngong mistake and that is why our bosses didnt wanna sign them. HA! Dont think i have no spy eh?!
Anyway, hopefully by today we’ll get our cheques, which i doubt it. WTF! Even if we get it today, it will still be the same as getting it tomorrow coz of the banking in rules.

Today i feel sad. Dancy is back to Adelaide again. 3 weeks and it feels like just 3 days. And we are not sure if she’s coming back next year. Dont know what is her plan yet. I think the next time she sees Qiqi, Qiqi will be running here and there already. And can even call her aunty liao.
Anyway, on Sunday we went to Hilton’s high-tea. The food is so-so only but i like the environment. But i can feel deep down, grandma is happy. Not bad for a 92 years old eh? And it’s value for money. It was our lunch and dinner!! Hehe..we had a late breaky at my cousin’s place. Kolomee, Heng Hua mee.. yummy!!!
Dad broke a plate when he was in the food counter. Oh my! I think he’s a bit blur blur as he’s on medication. He had not been feeling well for days already. Must be the weather.
I’d been wanting to do my last piece of assignment before class starts next week. But the laptop was hijack for watching youtube videos. Lots of funny election songs and video to watch. Just type election song in youtube, and you’ll be able to find some. Or go to Sarawak Talk and look for the url for it.
The magic date for election is on 8 March 08. The battle of posters and flags can be seen around town already.
Excited!
Vote wisely people! I know very well who i’ll be voting. Cant wait for the results! Not that i care very much, but i just have the interest to know. You’ll be seeing me in some of the kopitiam listening to the talks soon.

I didnt wanna wake up this morning. My bed was too cosy. I can see my sis is still sleeping at the other side. But suddenly she said, Che, dont forget to ask about the hi-tea in Hilton. Hehe.. really scare me. Thought she was sound asleep ler.
Work in the office is slow today. But early morning already kena lecture/brain washed by manager. I was just intending to tell her about the update on my work and suddenly she yada yada yada…. OMG! But it’s okie..i can take it. No problem. The meeting is on 5 March which i’m having my class, but she’ll try to get me out from my class to attend the meeting.
Then Jacky came to my office but he down in Level 4. He was watching our Association video and i joined him. I just remember that i never watch the entire video before. I remember the process of doing all the video and other informations that was needed for the exhibition centre. Gawd! It took us months. and I have long hair then. and i look fat. Jacky dont recognise me in the video 
But hmm.. i am still fat now what??!!
Talking about fat. Last night Dancy, Jacky and I went for yoga. Valarie (my yogi..err.. dont know if that’s the correct term) said we are focusing on the back bend. I didnt know Dancy is so flexible!!! She can do the bridge post without any difficulty. And she says she felt nothing. Jacky and i were .. well.. we tried our best. Hehe.. Valarie asked me when will i be back to my yoga regime. Errrr….. soon is the word. I dont know if i have time. Mon is badminton/gym, Tues is Qi Gong, Weds-rest day, Thurs is gym and Fri is yoga. Weekend is for me to pig out. Hehe.. and i havent slot in my swimming class. I must learn my free style. I’d learnt my frog style and i’m happy about it I even managed to teach Dancy while we were swimming in Siem reap.
I’ll be having lunch in a while and then Yien2 and i will be heading to the MAS fair. Will be meeting up Peiling and Teo there too. We wanna go for a holiday but hmm…
Rachel suggested a brilliant itenenary. But the only problem i have is that it will coincide with my mum and Qiqi’s 1st birthday!! i think my dad will be unhappy about it.

It’s FRIDAY!! yeayy..NOT! It’s a working Saturday tomorrow. Duh?!!
By the way, there is MAS fair going on starting today till this Sunday. Lots of cheap cheap air tickets going on sale! It’s making me dizzy. I donno where i wanna go coz i wanna go EVERYWHERE, if possible..if i have the money. If only money grows on tree ya? Hehe.. And Air Asia has also heaps of CHEAP air tickets. Imagine, going from Kuching to Macau return for only Rm500!!! OMG!!!! But.. it’s in July and it’s summer. So, Jacky and i decided to put that trip on hold to November or December. Any takers?
And then we plan to go Star cruise in June/July. Am recruiting people to go now. Recruiting..sounds like military. It’s gonna be FUN if more people tag along. So people, if you are reading this and feel like wanna join, please feel free to contact me.
I suddenly remember and i feel i MUST blog about this. About 10 days ago, Hank thought he has chicken-pox. But it turned out that it’s not chicken-pox. It’s hand, foot and mouth (HFM) disease. I was in Siem reap when i heard that and he’s been trying to alert everyone whom he’d been in physically contact during CNY about this. And of coz i was one of them and i had to alert my bro and SIL about it coz Qiqi was there when he came to visit. One of Hank’s friend, Eleanor also got infected. Then i heard that one of my colleague’s son also got HFM. Goodness! I didnt know it was that serious. And yesterday Hank told me his nephew and niece have got the HFM symptoms too. Please take care of yourself, your children and your loved ones especially if they are still baby. If they have fever or feeling cold and hot and cold, and have reddish spot on their hand or feet, please bring them to see the Dr ASAP!!
And i donno if it’s the weather or the CNY food, some of my friends are also feeling under the weather. Charis, take care ya? Drink more water and rest. I am having nose block too. Thank God the medicine i am taking is helping.

CNY is coming to an end. Time flies way too fast!! And Dancy is going back to Adelaide next Monday. Not sure if she will be back next year coz she’s planning for a trip to Canada with my parents end of this year.
To me, this CNY is very different. I’d lost my beloved dog. I miss her terribly especially when i am so use of her begging food from me during preparation of cuttlefish, bak poh, keropok and cakes. I remember very well in my mind that everytime we wanna do these stuff, we’ll be extremely quiet. But somehow, the very next thing we know, she’ll be waiting for you to drop something on the floor. She has this nice, round eyes that mesmerise you when you you see her face. You’ll purposely drop something so that she can quickly vacuum it up. I still have not take away the rug she used to sleep on. It’s just that part of me still dont want to let go, entirely.
Peiling had just told us about how she celebrate Valentine’s day. So sweet of her the other half. Am happy for you both. And Angela too, glad to hear about your V Day story. So nice one… everyone has something to share, except me. Boo hoooo…..
We will have reunion dinner tonight. Yeayy! Dont know what mum is cooking, but i think it wont be my favourite. She bought a duck yesterday night, which i dont eat. Ya.. i know. i am super fussy when it comes to food. I dont eat pork, duck, papaya, pineapple and smelly fish. Ueeekkk…. So, mum is out of idea on what to cook for me.
Dont know if Jacky is joining me for dinner tonite. His mum will be back from Singapore this evening. So…
I heard, Chap Goh Mei is Chinese Valentine’s Day. Is that true?? If it is, then i’ll be missing another V day with Jacky. Double boo hoooo…
Yien2 just told me she wanna throw some oranges into the river. Should she? Hehe.. Her parents had been arranging her to meet up with some lads and she’s unhappy about it. How cool is that? Her dad is always very sporting when it comes to this. But she’s just not up to it lah…..
I’ll be counting my Ang Pow tonight. It’s all under my pillow. Have not open them yet. I think in term of quantity, i think i have more Ang Pows than last year! Isnt it weird?

It’s my first day at work after the new year. Chinese new year i mean. I think i left part of my brain in Angkor Wat. I find that i’d lost some of my memory and am stil blur as sotong (squid).
No mood to work. I am still in a holiday mood.
Early this morning, i had to attend a meeting and write minutes. It was a long meeting, 9a.m. till 1pm, no break in between. It was a bit chaotic but we managed to pull through ok. Lots of things to do, and i am behind schedule in EVERYTHING! I started to panic and my migraine came. That’s the last thing i wish i have. Migraine…. at this critical moment.
Anyway, it’s not a good start.
On a positive note, Qiqi is getting smarter and wittier. She’s such a darling. She is much stronger now. Can grib things now. Just a while ago, without my bro and SIL’s knowledge, Dancy and i gave her to eat mandarin oranges. Hehe.. Her face looks so so funny when she tastes the sourness of the orange.
Back to assignment time.
